Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 35 mph route filtering work?

SunNav checks the posted speed limit of every road segment on a route before showing it to you. If a faster route would use a road posted above 35 mph, SunNav automatically routes around it instead.

Does SunNav work without cell service?

Yes. Map tiles and points of interest for your community are downloaded to your device so navigation keeps working in areas with weak or no signal.

Is there a subscription?

No. SunNav is a one-time purchase — pay once when you download it from the App Store, and it's yours. No trial, no recurring charges, no subscription to manage or cancel.

I found a bug or a road that shouldn't be marked safe. What do I do?

Please email [email protected] with as much detail as you can — what you were doing, the road or intersection involved, and your device model. Safety-related reports (like an incorrect speed limit) get priority.

Which communities does SunNav support?

SunNav currently supports Sun City, Surprise, AZ. More communities may be added in future updates.
